Sunflower at the flower bed in front of Kaminagaya Station

　On Sunday, May 26, 2024, Maruyamadai Neighborhood Association, Maruyamadai Ichozaka Shopping Street, and Maruyamadai Elementary School sowed sunflower seeds on the flower bed in front of Kaminagaya Station and planted various flowers. On the day, we were able to enjoy sowing and plant flowers under sunny weather suitable for sunflowers.
　Sunflower seeds came from Osaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, where Konan Ward interacts through sunflowers. In addition, the fertilizer sowed this time was provided by a local company, Yachiyo Portley Co., Ltd.
　In addition to the preparation of soil in advance, the staff of Konan Public Works Office provided assistance and watering on the day.
　Thanks to the cooperation of various people, it has become a colorful and beautiful flowerbed, so please come and see it!

Perhaps the best time to see, many tall sunflowers were facing down, but some short sunflowers were still in full bloom.

Some tall sunflowers were still blooming well. It is cheered by the appearance of sunflowers blooming.
Colorful flowers are also in bloom.
