About training for home disaster prevention staff
  In order to mitigate damage caused by large-scale disasters that are likely to occur in the future, community support along with self support is becoming increasingly important.
 That's right. 
  Through training for home disaster prevention personnel, students will be able to acquire knowledge and skills to protect their own homes, as well as the importance of community support.
 By deepening your understanding, I hope that you will be active as a leader in disaster prevention activities in the community.

3 Participants in the course

What is "Konandai Suki Roller Strategy / WE Love Konan"?…

We really want to reduce fires that occur frequently in Yokohama and Konan Ward…I want to lose it…

It was born in 2017 to convey this feeling to everyone living and working in Konan Ward.

"Konandai Suki Roller Strategy, WE Love Konan".

Together with Love-chan of the original character Labrador, we will raise the themes to be alert one by one and tell everyone.

The first installment is based on the theme of fire.
When using fire, never leave the place.

The second installment is based on the theme of "fire alarms for houses".
Ten years have passed since the mandatory installation of fire alarms for houses.
After installation, of course, inspection and cleaning every year, but is the battery going down soon?
We ask you to check the fire alarm for the house installed at home.

Information on Self-Defense Fire Brigade Training Meeting

Self-defense fire brigades in Konan Ward gather together and rent the premises of the Keikyu Kamiooka Driving School to showcase their daily training results.
The training sessions are held with the aim of mutually improving firefighting technology and morale, and to strengthen voluntary disaster prevention awareness and disaster prevention capabilities at each business site.
(The event was canceled in fiscal 2020 and 2021 due to the spread of coronavirus infection.)
Business self-defense fire brigade has become a major force in regional disaster prevention not only by self-defense at each business site, but also in cooperation with neighboring offices.

Let's carry out fire drills

A paramedic will give a lecture on prevention of sudden illness and injury to children and first aid measures.
Emergency transport for children is the most common.
Sudden illness: febrile convulsions, epilepsy, abdominal pain, etc.
Injuries and accidents: falls, falls, burns, suffocation, etc.
Many children's injuries and accidents can be prevented with the care of parents.
Environmental improvement is important (let's create an environment where accidents are unlikely to occur)
A paramedic who is active in the field will give a lecture on the above.
We will tell you the actual cases and first aid measures in an easy-to-understand manner.

Konan fire department focuses on preventing injuries to elderly people.
"I'm fine!" We carry out emergency relief lectures for the elderly.
Outline of lecture~
・Preventive measures against injuries based on the use of ambulances
・Kenkonan gymnastics that can be done easily while sitting!
・Information on Disaster Prevention and reduce disaster damage, focusing on fire prevention
It will be held in about 45 minutes.
※"I'm fine!" Is a title created with the hope of a healthy life for the elderly by health and Konan.

Conclusion ceremony for disaster support

On July 5, 2019, at the Hino Southern Port Regional Exchange Space, in the presence of Konan Fire Chief, Hino Southern Port, a special elderly nursing home, Neighborhood Associations Okita, Hinogaoka Neighborhood Associations Hinogaoka and Konandai Public Service Housing Neighborhood Association A letter was exchanged.
This support agreement is concluded based on mutual understanding with the aim of reducing damage in the event of a disaster such as a fire or earthquake. The signing ceremony was attended by officials from the facility, executives of Neighborhood Associations and others, and it was an opportunity to reaffirm the importance of self support community support in promoting regional disaster prevention capabilities.                                                                                            "Hinoroku Neighborhood Association", which will be newly launched on April 1, 2022, will join this firefighting support cooperation agreement.
