Foods that are eaten without heating, such as dairy products, processed meat products, processed seafood, processed vegetables, etc.
Characteristics
It is widely distributed in the environment, such as soil, rivers, sewage, and feed, and is separated from a variety of animals such as livestock, wildlife, and fish. It can grow even at low temperatures below 4°C or at a salt concentration of 12%.
Symptoms
People with low immune function, such as pregnant women, baby/infant, and the elderly, are more likely to become serious and may cause meningitis and sepsis 2-3 weeks after eating. Pregnant women may have miscarriages, premature birth, or stillbirth.
Even if the disease does not become severe, influenza-like symptoms such as fever and muscle pain, gastroenteritis symptoms such as nausea and diarrhea may occur 9 to 48 hours after eating.
Preventive measures
・Let's eat meat well and eat it.
・Wash the vegetables and fruits that you eat raw.
・Let's eat refrigerated food by the deadline.
