Hospital Director

Yokohama City Apolexy and Spinal Nerves Center provides advanced and specialized treatment for cerebrovascular diseases, cardiovascular diseases such as heart failure, neurological diseases such as Parkinson's disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), spinal cord diseases including spinal scoliosis from school age to adulthood, and knee joint diseases such as osteoarthritis, which is common among elderly people.

Many cerebrovascular diseases develop suddenly and need to be treated quickly. Our hospital is equipped with specialized medical equipment such as MRI (3.0T) and CT, and has a system that can provide medical treatment 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and provides advanced treatments such as thrombolysis therapy and thrombosis recovery therapy. As a hospital that plays a central role in local stroke acute care, it has been certified as a "Primary Stroke Center (PSC) Core Facility" by the Japan Stroke Society, and plays a central role in cerebrovascular disease medical care in Yokohama City. I am.

Spinal spinal cord disease causes symptoms such as walking disorders, back pain, stiff shoulders, and numbness in limbs. On the other hand, we use medical devices such as the X-ray imaging system "sterEOS imaging system", MRI, and muscular electrocardiogram to provide appropriate treatment based on accurate diagnosis by a specialized doctor.

For knee joint diseases, we perform optimal preservative therapy and surgery based on an accurate diagnosis to rebuild function. Especially for surgery, we have introduced navigation systems and surgical support robots to ensure accurate and safe installation of artificial joints.

In the operating room, a bioclean room has been installed to minimize the risk of infection.

Regarding rehabilitation, we have assigned a large number of specialized staff to support early return to home, such as providing 365 days a year of medical care tailored to the patient's condition, such as cerebrovascular disease, muscular disease, and heart failure immediately after hospitalization. .

In order to utilize such advanced and specialized medical functions and contribute to improving the standard of medical care in the region, conduct tests using specialized medical equipment based on requests from regional medical institutions, or conduct workshops and exchange opinions. We promote cooperation with local medical institutions by exchanging opinions. We are also actively involved in the prevention and early detection of stroke caused by brain docks.

Based on our philosophy of "Aiming for safe and convincing safety, sincere, and advanced specialized medical care," all patients will work together to make them happy to come to this hospital. I will do my best.
