Yokohama Triennale (YOKOHAMA TRIENNNALE)

The Yokohama Triennale is an international exhibition of contemporary art held in Yokohama once every three years. Until now, in addition to exhibiting works by internationally active artists, we have also introduced a wide range of emerging artists, presenting the latest trends in contemporary art in the world. Since the first exhibition in 2001, in a rapidly changing world situation, he has been looking at the relationship between the world and Japan, society and individuals, and re-examined the social significance of art from a more multifaceted perspective. The event has been held as a national project supported by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, and as a project that symbolizes Yokohama, a city of cultural and artistic creation, and has welcomed many visitors.
