Local revitalization support tax system (corporate version of hometown tax payment)
Under this system, if a company whose head office (main office and office under the Local Tax Law) is located outside the area of the local government makes a donation to a local revitalization project of the local government, It is a mechanism that can reduce the amount equivalent to up to about 90% of the donated amount.

Public-private partnership and co-creation

Donation utilization business of past years
Overview of the National System
When a private company makes a donation to a local government as a local revitalization support tax system (corporate version of hometown tax payment), special measures for tax credits will be taken in addition to the usual deductible measures for corporate-related taxes.
※ This system is intended for private companies outside the city, and is different from general hometown tax payment for individuals.

Points of tax credit
Corporate Resident Tax
Tax credit for 40% of the donated amount. (Up to 20% of corporate inhabitant tax rate)
Income taxes
If the deduction of corporate resident tax does not reach 40% of the donation amount, the tax deduction is the amount equivalent to 40% of the donation amount minus the deduction of corporate resident tax. (Up to 10% of the donated amount and 5% of the corporate tax amount)
Corporate business tax
20% of the donated amount is deducted from tax. (Up to 20% of corporate business tax amount)
Major Notes on Donations
・Donations from companies whose headquarters (main offices or offices under the Local Tax Law) are located in Yokohama City are not subject to this system.
・Donations per business per company will start from 100,000 yen.
・It is forbidden to receive financial benefits in exchange for making a donation.
・The period covered by this program is until FY2024.
・If the donor is a gangster or a gangster or a person who has a close relationship with a gangster, we will refuse the application for donation or return the donated money.
・For tax deduction procedures (declaration, etc.), please consult your tax accountant or the relevant tax office.
