Initiatives for Disaster Prevention in the Region

We carry out voluntary disaster prevention activities in the region, such as training for disaster prevention organizations in Neighborhood Association and Neighborhood Associations, and training for the establishment and operation of evacuation centers in evacuation shelter. In the event of a major earthquake, it is important for the Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations (the town's disaster prevention organization) to cooperate with the evacuation shelter, a gathering of information and supplies, to respond in the community support region that utilizes local communities. Each inhabitant of a ward participates in training and work on preparing for disaster.

Training and Initiatives for Neighborhood Association and Neighborhood Associations

In Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations, "I will protect myself." "self support" and "Everyone will protect everyone's town." Based on the recognition of the community support, we conduct training and disaster prevention events such as initial-stage fire-fighting techniques. and emergency rescue from normal times as well as in the event of a disaster. Participate in training in Neighborhood Association and Neighborhood Associations, and build relationships with disaster prevention knowledge and skills and help each other with local residents.

Training at evacuation shelter

It is important that all employees, including evacuees, work together to establish and operate the evacuation shelter. In addition to evacuation centers, evacuation shelter plays a variety of roles, including a base for collecting and distributing supplies, and a base for collecting and providing information. In order to ensure that various roles are carried out smoothly at an early stage after the earthquake, we regularly conduct training at evacuation shelter.
