We believe that starting disaster prevention efforts from childhood will increase awareness, spontaneous actions, and interest in the community. With the aging of society remarkably and the issues of the decline of local communities, there are many parts expected to be expected of elementary and junior high school students. For elementary and junior high school students to promote disaster prevention in various ways, it is thought that it will contribute to safe town development. Efforts for elementary school students

Elementary school students have created a "My Timeline" using a tablet!

Utilizing tablet terminals located at elementary schools, we created a "My Timeline" by Yokohama City Evacuation Navigation. On the day, it was a hands-on disaster prevention classroom in which the ward office and the fire department cooperated. Yokohama City evacuation navigator can also be used from smartphones. We hope that elementary school students who have taken the class will spread the learning in class to each family, etc., which will lead to improvements in disaster prevention and solidarity of the entire region.
