Yokodai-Daiyon Elementary School Hamakko Toilet Installation Training was held (September 13, 2023)

On Wednesday, September 13, 2023, training was held at Yokodai-Daiyon Elementary School evacuation shelter to install Hamakko Toilet (temporary toilet directly connected to the sewer system) to be installed in the event of a disaster.
During the hot weather, about 25 people, including evacuation shelter Steering Committee, members of the Yokohama Disaster Prevention License Isogo, and school teachers, gathered to check the manholes in the schoolyard and install toilets. In addition, it was confirmed that water was taken from the pool using a pump to drain the waste and flowed to the pipes under the toilet.
At the same time, fourth graders toured the Hamakko Toilet and the disaster prevention storage.
