The method of disposing of batteries is as follows.

Anything from a business site cannot be sent to a collection site in household garbage. In addition, we cannot put in recycling box such as city halls or collection can of collection cooperation shop.

Dry batteries

The batteries are collected twice a week on the day of collection of dry batteries (the same collection date as burnable garbage), so please put them together with dry batteries and put them in a transparent or translucent bag.
Main objects: Manganese batteries, alkali batteries, lithium primary batteries, nickel-based primary batteries, coin batteries (format symbol CR or BR)

Small rechargeable batteries (including mobile batteries)

We don't collect it in Yokohama. Please consult your dealer for collection or put it in a yellow collection can (small rechargeable battery recycling box) installed by JBRC. Recycling boxes are located at home electronics retailers, bicycle retailers, large supermarkets and home centers, ward offices and collection offices in each ward.
