Is there a system for the city to collect business-related waste discharged by small-scale establishments?

Yokohama City does not collect waste (business garbage) generated by business activities (regardless of profit or non-profit) in principle.
(If you discharge business waste into the household garbage collection site, you may be punished by law.)

Please dispose of it yourself or entrust a licensed contractor (licensed contractor) for general waste collection and transportation, and dispose of industrial waste to a contractor (licensed contractor) who has been licensed to collect, transport, and dispose of industrial waste.

However, if all of the following three requirements are met, it will be registered as a "household concurrent establishment" and the city will collect it.
(After registration, it is necessary to specify the business name on the garbage bag. If you do not specify it, you will not be able to collect it.)

1 The office must be located in parallel with the residence
　(Note) This does not apply to cases where there is a store on the first floor, and there is a house above the second floor, or if the residence and office are separate buildings on the same premises.

2. Employees must be composed of relatives of living together.

3 The amount of business-related garbage is always 3 kilograms on average every day. Or "household garbage / Business Garbage" must be 5 kilograms or less in total
