Restrictions on donations of specified companies

Prohibition of donations of companies that have a certain relationship with Yokohama City
Please note that donations related to Yokohama City councilors and The Mayor of Yokohama's elections (hereinafter referred to as "Yokohama City Election") or donations related to political activities are prohibited.
The outline is as follows, but please contact us if you have any questions.
1.Parties to contracts with Yokohama City and contracts with special interests
The parties to the contract are prohibited from making any donations related to the Yokohama election. Contract contracts refer to contracts for civil engineering projects, contracts for payment of goods, specific transportation contracts, special use contracts for facilities, etc. Even for parties other than contracts, if the ratio of profits to the entire contract is particularly large compared to normal cases, or if the ratio of profits is normal but involves special or exclusive interests, Donations are prohibited.
2.Companies and other corporations that receive loans from financial institutions for which Yokohama City provides interest replenishment
Donations related to the election of Yokohama City will be prohibited during the next period.
From the day when the financial institution receives notification from Yokohama City of the decision to grant interest reimbursement to the day one year has passed since the date of grant of the interest reimbursement.
However, loans related to test research, investigation and disaster recovery are excluded.
3.Companies, labor unions, staff organizations and other organizations are prohibited from donating political activities (including election campaigns), except for political parties and political funding organizations.
This regulation applies to all companies and organizations, whether or not they have a relationship with Yokohama City. "Other organizations" here include all industries, cultural organizations, worker organizations, fellowships, etc., regardless of whether they are corporations or not. A political fund organization is an organization that provides financial assistance for a political party and is limited to one for each political party. This political fund organization does not include supporting organizations.
4.Notwithstanding the above 3, companies and other corporations that have the following relationships with Yokohama City, even if they are political parties and political funding organizations, their political parties, etc., certify and recommend candidates for the Yokohama City Congressional Election.・ Donations related to political activities (including election campaigns) are prohibited if they support.
Companies and other corporations that have received subsidies, contributions, interest subsidies, and other benefits from Yokohama City
Donations are prohibited from the date of receiving the notification from Yokohama City of the decision to grant the benefit to the day one year after the same day. However, those related to test research, investigation, disaster recovery, and other items that do not have a benefit due to nature are excluded.
Companies and other corporations that receive capital, basic funds, etc. from Yokohama City
It is prohibited regardless of the period.
