Consistent counting votes at the open table
For counting votes, the number of votes is calculated for each candidate after mixing the votes on the opening stand.
The mix of votes is because it seeks to ensure the secrets of voting.
Inspection of votes
The counting manager checks the validity and invalidity of all votes together with the witness, and further divides the valid votes for each candidate.
Reading of the number of votes of each candidate and preparation of counting votes
When all counting work is completed, the counting manager creates a counting record after reading the number of votes of each candidate.
(Note 1) Winners are determined in descending order of the number of votes based on the results of counting votes, but if they do not reach a certain number of votes (statutory votes: different depending on the election), they will not be elected.
(Note 2) “Precise” reports on TV, radio, etc. on the day of the voting day are made independently by the media companies and are not issued by the Election Commission
Seal of inspected vote
The counting manager distinguishes between the validity and invalidity of the checked vote, seals it with the witness, and sends it to the Election Commission.
