~ About public expense burden system (in the case of Yokohama city council member) ~
A system called election public administration is stipulated in laws and regulations to ensure that the election campaign of those who are going to run for can be conducted fairly. There are several types of election public administrations, but here we will introduce the so-called public expenditure system.
With the public expenditure burden system, for example, when a person running for a member of the Yokohama City council conducts an election campaign using a car or makes a poster for an election campaign, Yokohama City limits the cost of this. , It is a system to bear.
Items and conditions subject to public expenditure are as follows.
Items | Limit of public expenditure | |
---|---|---|
Automobile (1) (Note 1) | Rental fee | 16,100 yen (1 day) x 9 days |
Fuel costs | 69,300 yen (during the period) | |
Driver compensation | 12,500 yen (1 day) x 9 days | |
Automobile (2) (Note 1) | Taxi Higher Rent | 64,500 yen (1 day) x 9 days |
Villa | Creation fee | ¥61,840 (Note 3) |
Poster | Creation fee | Approx. 800,000 yen to 1 million yen (Note 2) |
(Note 1) (1)Choose either or (2).
(Note 2) There is a difference depending on the size of the constituency and the number of electoral registrants.
(Note 3) Up to 8,000 sheets (up to 7.73 yen per sheet)
[Conditions for public expenditure]
The public expenditure is not something that can be received if you run for the candidate, but will not be received unless you get a vote equal to or higher than the confiscation point (Note 4).
In addition, you must sign a paid contract between the candidate and the trader, and notify the Election Commission of the ward.
(Note 4) Deposit confiscation point = (Total number of valid votes) ÷ (number of members in that ward) ÷ 10
[Payment method of public expenditure]
The public expenditure system is not paid directly to the candidate, but is paid to the contractor who the candidate has contracted.
