Co-creation

Business Purpose

The Yokohama City Policy Management Bureau Co-creation Promotion Office is working on the promotion of "co-creation" as a position to comprehensively promote public-private partnerships. In co-creation, we create new value and solutions through open innovation created by private companies, NPOs, universities, etc. bring their ideas, know-how, resources, etc., and interact with each other.

How to use specific donations

In the project to utilize donations, “Promotion of Citizen-Private Co-creation” project, we will promote each approach in the following two directions while respecting the wishes of the companies that donated. (* Donations will be allocated to "promotion of public-private co-creation.")

Direction 1 Strengthening matching between social issues and companies

(1) Promoting the realization of co-creation front proposal using donations
   Promote matching between social issues that the city has with the know-how of companies and NPOs, and create new value created through public-private partnerships 
   We utilize for consignment costs or contribution required for proof for problem solution in Yokohama-shi to carry out with interested suburban companies.
   [Main allocations] Promotion costs for matching and problem solving (collaboration with intermediary support organizations, etc.)

(2) Expanding opportunities for public-private partnerships and collaboration
   It is necessary for various actors, such as governments, companies, NPOs, to provide opportunities and support opportunities for creating new solutions through dialogue and interaction.
   I will use it for your expenses.

Direction 2 Promotion of open innovation rooted in living labs and communities such as living labs and civil life

(1) Support for solving social issues by local communities, such as living labs                     
   Based on the concept of the Yokohama version of the regional circular economy (Circular Economy Plus), it is a regional initiative that is being conducted in various parts of Yokohama.
   It will be used for projects to support efforts to solve social issues.

(2) Yokohama Lab 2024 / Career Support for Children through the participation of diverse actors

Donation Benefits unique to this project (planned)

(1) Participation in public-private partnership projects (demonstration experiments, etc.) in the city triggered by donations
(2) Providing opportunities for business development and other opportunities through the above
(3) Disseminate information on cooperating companies through co-creation e-mail magazine (approximately 1,500 registered)
(4) Providing various corporate benefits in Yoko Lab 2024
  ①Post the company name in the press release (e.g., cooperation ●● company)

  ③Providing space to introduce donors (CSR initiatives, etc.) at the venue

Main Points to note in Donations

Donations from companies with headquarters (main offices or offices under the Local Tax Law) are located in Yokohama City are not subject to this system.

・Donations per business per company will start from 100,000 yen.
It is forbidden to receive financial benefits in exchange for making a donation.
・The period covered by this system is up to fiscal 2024.
・If the donor is a gangster or a person with a close relationship with a gangster, the application for donation is refused or received.
 We will refund the appendix.

※Contributions from companies with headquarters outside the city to this project are subject to tax credits as a local revitalization support tax system (corporate version of hometown tax payment).

Flow of donation procedures

(1) Consideration and consultation on donation [Company]

You have you consider contribution to business of Yokohama-shi, and please talk about contribution at any time by email, telephone.
※Please refrain from submitting a donation application form and paying donations, as we may not be able to receive donations.

(2) Confirmation of donation application contents and project cost confirmation of target business [Yokohama-shi]

We will check the details of the donation you have consulted and the target project cost.

(3) Answer about whether or not to accept corporate version of hometown tax payment [Yokohama-shi]

We will respond to the company whether or not to accept it as a corporate version of hometown tax payment.
At the same time, we will send you required documents such as "donation application form" by email or mail.

(4) Offering for donation [Company]

Please fill in required items in the "donation application form" (word: 15KB) and send it by mail, fax or e-mail to the Policy Management Bureau Co-creation Promotion Section.

(5) Information on how to pay donations [Yokohama City]

As soon as the application for donation is confirmed, the city will inform the company of how to pay the donation and send a payment slip.
Please follow the procedure at the designated money melting organization (Silver Bank, Japan Post Bank, etc.).
※As a general rule, payment slip payment will be made.

(6) Payment of donations [Company]

We pay contribution from company to city. The total amount of donations is within the scope of the project cost.

(7) Issuance of receipt [Yokohama City]

The city will issue a receipt to the company that had donated.

(8) Tax filing procedure [Corporate]

The company uses a receipt to declare to the tax office that it is applicable to the local revitalization support tax system.

(9) We announce on country, city homepage (we announce only when we had you accept publication.)
