Kanagawa Prefecture Mayors' Association
The purpose is to strengthen communication between each city in the prefecture, discuss common issues related to urban autonomy, promote them, contribute to the smooth operation and development of city administration, and contribute to the development of local autonomy. It has been installed.

- Exchange of opinions with related organizations
We maintain close contact with the prefecture and related organizations inside and outside the prefecture, and hold exchange meetings to contribute to the smooth operation and progress of urban administration.
- Business related to promotion of decentralization, transfer of authority, etc.
In addition to promoting decentralization, we hold meetings and seminars to promote the transfer of authority from prefectures to municipalities.
- Approach to national and prefectural governments
We reflect opinion of each city in measure, budget of country, prefecture and carry out activity to plan important problem about promotion of city administration and problem requiring urgent measures.
