History and Recovery of Yokohama's requisition as seen in video

The requisition of Yokohama began with the occupation of the Allied Forces in August 1945. A wide range of requisitions, including port facilities and central city areas, delayed the reconstruction and reconstruction of Yokohama.
Currently, Yokohama City is promoting initiatives to promote return and to materialize the use of the former site.
Until now, we have promoted initiatives for return as an important issue of municipal administration, realized many returns, and utilized the ruins in town development in Yokohama. This history is introduced intermingling the occupation period in the late 20s, around 1958, when the 100th anniversary of the opening of the port was held, and the 1940s.
