In Yokohama City, based on the "Excite Yokohama 22" (a major renovation plan around Yokohama Station), which was formulated in 2009, we are working on "town development suitable as a gateway to Yokohama". As part of this, the “Excite Yokohama 22 Roundtable” is held every year to report on the status of initiatives and exchange opinions with local organizations, railway operators, community development officials, etc.
In fiscal 2022, we promoted community development, including the development of the West Exit station square and the urban redevelopment project in the Tsuruya area of West Exit. In future initiatives, it is necessary to consider new initiatives based on changes in social conditions, etc., and to further promote each business and approach positioned in the plan.
