In Yokohama City, based on the "Town Development Guidelines Utilizing History" enforced in 1988, modern architecture, Western-style buildings, old private houses, civil engineering industrial heritage, etc. are certified as Yokohama City in order to preserve the historical landscape. Has been certified as a historical building.
This time, we have newly certified the old private house "Iketani Family House Main House" built in 1857 as the house of the famous family who served as the master of Minamitsunashima Village.
