The situation surrounding waste administration has changed with the times, and there is a need to respond to various issues, such as the achievement of SDGs and the realization of a decarbonized society.
In order to respond steadily to these changes, Yokohama City is considering the formulation of a new "Yokohama City General Waste Management Basic Plan".
Therefore, in order to receive various opinions from academic experts and citizens and businesses, the Council for Promotion of Waste Reduction and Recycling, in December 2021, we consulted with the Yokohama City Waste Reduction and Recycling Promotion Council on "Waste Measures for Achieving SDGs and Realizing a Decarbonized Society," and after discussions at the Council.
