University students participating in "Kradashi Challenge in YOKOHAMA" will hold a Marche in Yokohama City Hall!

Based on the "Memorandum on Public-Private Partnership on Food Loss Reduction" concluded in February 2020, Yokohama City and Kradashi Co., Ltd. are working together to reduce food loss.
From August 2023, we will experience the process of vegetable production, distribution, and sales, think about food loss and local production for local consumption, and develop an initiative called “Kradashi Challenge * inYOKOHAMA” to participate in Yokohama. Or college students are working under producers in the city.
This event will be held in Yokohama City Hall, which will sell vegetables harvested by university students participating in the initiative and disseminating information from the perspective of reducing food loss and local production for local consumption.

Kuradashi Co., Ltd. has implemented a social contribution internship “Kradashi Challenge,” in which students interested in social issues think about regional revitalization and food loss issues through the support of local producers suffering from labor shortages. Travel expenses, transportation, food expenses, and stay expenses for participating students are supported by the Kradashi Fund, which was established to contribute to the revitalization of the local economy and social development.
