The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology has been awarded the Minister's Commendation to schools, libraries, and organizations (individuals) that have conducted excellent practices with distinctive and excellent practices in order to contribute to the further promotion of children's reading activities.
In Yokohama, "Toyoda Elementary School (Sakae Ward)" and "Kanazawa Library (Kanazawa Ward)" will be awarded as "2021 Excellent Practice Schools and Libraries for Children's Reading Activities".
