Kohoku Ward holds the Kohoku Art Festival every year with the aim of creating local cultural and cultural activities.
In 2020, we will hold "Kyogen-Japanese Traditional Laughs" by Matasaburo Nomura, a holder of important intangible cultural property [Nohgaku] comprehensive certification holder!
Kyogen is also known as the "art of laughter." With just words and gestures, the various human patterns in everyday life into "laughs" and "funny".
On the day of the event, a “Workshop / Kyogen Demolition Shinsho-Let's Know Kyogen-” will be held before each performance to let you know the charm of such Kyogen. We will explain unique expressions unique to Kyogen and experience acting on the stage (with a limit on the number of people).
Please laugh a lot and have fun!
