2019 is the 80th anniversary of the Kohoku district system.
To commemorate this, we will plant saplings of dogwood, a Kohoku Ward tree, at Okurayama Park.
These seedlings are made by grafting from a 100-year dogwood (*) branch provided by Tokyo Metropolitan Horticultural High School.
（※） Dogwood was given by the United States as a return for the Sidmore cherry blossoms given to Washington from Tokyo in 1912 to Washington.
