Kohoku Ward has been holding the Kohoku Open Factory since FY2012.
Kohoku Ward has the largest number of manufacturing sites in Yokohama. With the largest population in the city and population is expected to increase in the future, construction of condominiums is progressing in factory agglomeration area, and mixed housing and construction has become an issue.
The Kohoku Open Factory is an event where residents of the city, elementary school studenｔ, and students visit factories and offices that are not normally open to the public. Through this event, we have you know that there are establishments with excellent technology in the ward, promote understanding of inhabitants of the ward, and to remind them of the appeal of Kohoku Ward. .
