About "Kohoku Open Factory"

• While Kohoku Ward has the largest population in the 18 wards of Yokohama, the number of manufacturing establishments in the manufacturing industry is the largest in the 18 wards of the city, and one of the characteristics of the region is that there are manufacturing sites nearby.
• To this end, the Kohoku Ward Office organizes “Kohoku Open Factory,” an event that conveys the fun of manufacturing and the feelings of creators through factory tours and experiences in cooperation with local industry associations and manufacturing companies.
• "Kohoku Open Factory" has been held every year since 2013 as the city's only "community-integrated open factory".
• At the twelfth event (February 2024), which was held on the largest scale ever, more than 1,200 applications were received, and all participants expressed "satisfied" in the participant questionnaire.
