March is an international awareness month that widely communicates the importance of early detection and treatment of colorectal cancer and supports colorectal cancer patients and survivors.
The colorectal cancer awareness event "Blue Ribbon Light Up" has been held since FY2019 as an event hosted by the Japan Cancer Society.
Yokohama City agrees with the purpose of this event and will light up the Yokohama City Government Building in blue.
He will also give a lecture on "Colorectal Cancer Treatment and Prevention" at Yokohama City Minato Red Cross Hospital.
