Energy Conservation Support Grant (Energy Conservation Diagnosis Course)

In order to achieve carbon neutrality, we will provide subsidies for capital investment with high energy-saving effects implemented by SMEs in Yokohama City.

August 1 We have announced the results of the provisional entry for July recruitment.

You can make a temporary entry for the grant from 10:00 on Monday, July 1 to 17:00 on Tuesday, July 23. This grant is not on a first-come, first-served basis.
March 27 Information on energy saving diagnosis announced the results of the provisional entry for February recruitment has been updated.
The contents were confirmed, a lottery was conducted, and the results were notified to the e-mail address registered on Wednesday, March 27.
This grant is scheduled to be offered in July.
March 15 The acceptance of temporary entries for February recruitment has been closed.

Temporary entries for grants will be accepted from 10:00 on Thursday, February 22 to 17:00 on Friday, March 15. This grant is not on a first-come, first-served basis.
This grant is scheduled to be recruited twice, February and July 2024.

If a fact, false, or injustice that does not meet the grant requirements are discovered after the grant is issued, the applicant will be requested to return the grant already issued.

Main requirements for grantees

  • Establish a business office in Yokohama City and operate at the business office after 12 months at the time of application.
  • Being a taxpayer of Yokohama City Tax (corporate: corporate municipal tax, sole proprietor: personal municipal tax) and there is no delinquency of city tax

Major requirements for projects to be subsidized (capital investment)

  • Capital investment that contributes to energy conservation at business sites that meet the conditions for each facility
  • At business sites where equipment is introducedEnergy conservation diagnosis, etc. carried out by institutions designated by the city(Those who have been consulted within one year from the date of application) and have capital investment based on the received medical certificate etc.
  • As a general rule, it must be equipment purchased from city company
  • Start the subsidized project after the grant decision date (construction of construction, installation of equipment, etc.) and pay the price.

 This refers to those that achieve an achievement rate of 100% or more of the energy-saving performance target standard effective as of February 1, 2024, as defined in accordance with the Act on Rationalization of Energy Specifications (Energy Conservation Law).

About consultation of energy saving diagnosis

As this subsidy subsidizes projects that are deemed to be expected to have energy saving and CO2 reduction effects by updating equipment, etc. It is necessary to submit a copy of a medical certificate, etc. that describes the energy saving effect at the time of grant application. In addition, it is necessary to have been diagnosed within the past year retroactively from the date of grant application.
Businesses with headquarters in the city will be subsidized by using the Yokohama City Energy Saving Diagnosis Support Subsidy (excluding tax).

If the order amount is 1 million yen or more, and you purchase from a company that is not listed on the Yokohama City Qualified Person List and a sole proprietor, you need to have this form listed at the place of purchase.

"Reason book pertaining to bid or estimate" is necessary when procurement from city companies is difficult due to the nature of article and construction.

Introduction of equipment

Be sure to install the equipment and start construction work after the grant date, and complete the payment.
Depending on the equipment, it will take a schedule until the delivery date, so contracts and orders before the grant is decided are accepted, but please note that there is a possibility that it will not be issued after examination.
