Photovoltaic power generation introduction support subsidy

To achieve carbon neutrality, we will support the introduction of solar power generation facilities implemented by SMEs in Yokohama City. In addition, this subsidy can be used in conjunction with the “2024 Kanagawa Self-consumption Renewable Energy Introduction Cost Subsidy (External Site)” implemented in Kanagawa Prefecture. .

Notice

The grant application amount as of today on October 17 is 24.3 million yen. (Budget amount: 40 million yen)
The application deadline for granting this grant is November 29, and the performance report deadline is January 31, 2025.
In addition, it takes about one month from the grant application to the grant decision.
Construction starts before the grant is decided will not be accepted, so please check the construction period before applying.
May 20 We have started accepting applications for solar power generation introduction support subsidies.
May 8 We announced about solar power generation introduction support subsidy.
Applications for grants will be accepted from 10:00 on Monday, May 20 to Friday, November 29.
This grant will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and will be closed when the budget amount is reached.

Unauthorized receipt of grants is a crime!

If a fact, false, or injustice that does not meet the grant requirements are discovered after the grant is issued, the applicant will be requested to return the grant already issued.
In addition, as there is a possibility of becoming a crime under criminal law, please check the requirements for recruitment guidance and apply appropriately.

 If the upper limit exceeds the subsidized expenses (when using the prefectural subsidy together, the amount deducted from the subsidy amount), the subsidized expenses will be the upper limit.

 The conditions must be met according to the classification of the introduction method.
 For details, please refer to the Application Guide (P.6 to 8).

※ Small and medium-sized enterprises are corporations or sole proprietors who meet any of the "capital amount or total investment" or "number of employees who always use" as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Basic Act on Small and Medium Enterprises listed in the table below. Refer to

Conditions of equipment to be subsidized

Introduces solar power generation equipment and power storage systems that meet the conditions for each equipment.
※Photovoltaic power generation facilities are subject to self-consumption, and facilities for the purpose of selling electricity are not eligible.

  When applying from the electronic application system, it is not necessary to create it because it is directly entered into the WEB form.

 It is necessary when introducing by lease or PPA.

 Necessary when the owner of the facility where the subsidized facilities are installed is different from the facility user.
 ※Please consult with the person in charge of Yokohama before applying.

Documents to change the grant decision contents of the grant or cancel the grant business

 After receiving the grant grant decision letter of advice, please submit when you change the contents or cancel the grant business.
 ※Please consult with Yokohama City representative before submitting.

Introduction of equipment

Procedure 3 Complete all delivery and construction by the time you apply for the performance report, and complete the payment of the full price.
Depending on the equipment, it may take a schedule until the delivery date, so contracts and orders before the grant is decided are accepted.
However, please note that there is a possibility that it will not be issued after examination.
In addition, please be sure to install equipment and start construction after the date of grant.

Submission of Grant Results Report

Reporting deadline

Friday, January 31, 2025
Applications will be concentrated just before the deadline, so please do not wait for the reporting deadline and apply within 2 weeks after the installation and payment of the equipment is completed.

Submission method

After completing the delivery and construction of the equipment and completing the full payment, enter the necessary items from the "Parent Power Generation Introduction Support Subsidy Performance Report Input Form".

Please refer to the Application Guide (P.18) for documents to be submitted. Please make sure that you have all the submitted documents at hand before applying.

In principle, the invoice must be submitted within one week after receiving the grant amount confirmation letter.
When you receive the delivery amount confirmation letter, please submit without waiting for the final submission deadline.

About transfer of grant

After Yokohama City receives the appropriate "Grant Invoice", the grant will be transferred to your designated account in about one month.
