Solar power generation introduction support subsidy

To achieve carbon neutrality, we will support the introduction of photovoltaic power generation facilities implemented by small and medium-sized enterprises in Yokohama. In addition, this subsidy can be used in conjunction with the "2024 Kanagawa Self-Consumption Type Renewable Energy Introduction Cost Subsidy (External Site)" implemented in Kanagawa Prefecture.

Notice

May 20 We have started accepting applications for solar power generation introduction support subsidies.
May 8 We announced about solar power generation introduction support subsidy.
Applications for grants will be accepted from 10:00 on Monday, May 20 to Friday, November 29.
In addition, this grant will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and will be closed when the budget is reached.

Unauthorized receipt of grants is a crime!

If a fact, false, misconduct, etc. that do not meet the grant requirements are discovered after the grant of this grant, the applicant will be asked to return the subsidized subsidy.
In addition, as it may be a crime under the criminal law, so please check the requirements of the recruitment guide and apply properly.

 If the upper limit exceeds the subsidized expenses (when using the prefecture's subsidy together, the amount deducted from the subsidy), the subsidized expenses will be the upper limit.

Requirements for grantees

 Conditions must be met according to the classification of the introduction method.
 For details, please refer to the Application Guide (pages 6 to 8).

※ Small and medium-sized enterprises are corporations that meet either of the "capital amount or total investment" or "number of employees who always use" as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Small and Medium Enterprise Basic Law listed in the table below. Refers to a sole proprietorship.

Corporations other than the Companies Act (general incorporated associations, public interest incorporated associations, general incorporated foundations, medical corporations, educational corporations, religious corporations, social welfare corporations, agricultural union corporations, NPOs, corporate unions, cooperatives, commercial and industrial cooperatives, etc.) are not eligible.

Conditions of facilities to be subsidized

Installation of photovoltaic power generation facilities and power storage systems that meet the conditions for each facility
※Photovoltaic power generation facilities are subject to self-consumption, and equipment intended to sell electricity are not eligible.

 Please be sure to register in the name of the corporation or business operator to apply.

Documents that must be submitted by all business operators

 If you do not use the electronic application system, please download the form and create it.
  When applying from the electronic application system, it is not necessary to create it because it is entered directly in the WEB form.

 Required when introduced by lease or PPA.

 Necessary when the owner of the facility where the subsidized equipment is installed is different from the equipment user.
 ※Please contact the person in charge of Yokohama City before applying.

Documents to change the contents of the grant decision or cancel the subsidy project

 After receiving the grant grant decision letter of advice, please submit it when you change contents or cancel subsidy business.
 ※Please consult with the person in charge of Yokohama City before submitting.

Installation of equipment

Procedure 3 Complete all delivery and construction by the time you apply for the performance report, and complete the full payment.
Depending on the equipment, it may take a schedule until the delivery date, so contracts and orders before the grant is decided are permitted.
However, please note that there is a possibility that it will not be issued after the examination.
In addition, please be sure to install equipment and start construction after the date of grant.

About submission of grant results report

Reporting deadline

Friday, January 31, 2025
Applications will be concentrated just before the deadline, so please do not wait for the reporting deadline and apply within 2 weeks after the installation and payment of the equipment is completed.

Submission method

After completing the delivery and construction of the equipment and completing the payment of the full price, enter the necessary items from the "Solar Power Generation Introduction Support Subsidy Results Report Input Form".

About submission of delivery invoice

Final submission deadline

Friday, February 28, 2025
As a general rule, the invoice must be submitted within one week after receiving the letter of confirmation of the grant amount.
When you receive the grant amount confirmation letter, please submit it without waiting for the final submission deadline.

About transfer of grant

After Yokohama City receives the appropriate "Grant Invoice", the grant will be transferred to your designated account in about one month.
