Energy Conservation Support Grant (Simple Application Course)

In order to achieve carbon neutrality, we will provide subsidies for capital investment with high energy-saving effects implemented by SMEs in Yokohama City.

Notice

August 1 We announced the results of the temporary entry for July recruitment.
All temporary entrants have been determined as eligible businesses, and the results will be notified to the registered e-mail address.

You can make a temporary entry for the grant from 10:00 on Monday, July 1 to 17:00 on Tuesday, July 23. This grant is not on a first-come, first-served basis.
March 27 Temporary entry results for February recruitment have been announced.
The contents were confirmed, a lottery was conducted, and the results were notified to the e-mail address registered on Wednesday, March 27.
This grant is scheduled to be offered in July.
March 15 The acceptance of temporary entries for February recruitment has been closed.

We accept temporary entry of grant from 10:00 on Thursday, February 22 to 17:00 on Friday, March 15. This grant is not on a first-come, first-served basis.
This grant is scheduled to be recruited twice, February and July 2024.

Unauthorized receipt of grants is a crime!

If a fact, false, or injustice that does not meet the grant requirements are discovered after the grant is issued, the applicant will be requested to return the grant already issued.
In addition, as there is a possibility of becoming a crime under criminal law, please check the requirements for recruitment guidance and apply appropriately.

  • Establish a business office in Yokohama City and operate at the business office after 12 months at the time of application.
  • Being a taxpayer of Yokohama City Tax (corporate: corporate municipal tax, sole proprietor: personal municipal tax) and there is no delinquency of city tax

Major requirements for projects to be subsidized (capital investment)

  • Capital investment that contributes to energy conservation at business sites that meet the conditions for each facility
  • As a general rule, it must be equipment purchased from city company
  • Start the subsidized project (start of construction, installation of equipment, etc.) after the applicationable company is determined (after winning is confirmed) and pay the price.

(7) LED lighting Renewal of the instrument body and the light source part together with electrical work (replacement of the light source part only or replacement of LED to LED is not applicable)
(8) Demand controller It measures the amount of electricity used and makes monitoring predictions, etc., which can be visualized and can control power use automatically if the target power is exceeded. (Only the equipment itself and installation costs for monitoring and control are covered, and system usage fees and general-purpose equipment such as PCs and servers are not covered.) ※2 Achievement of Top Runner Criteria
 This refers to those that achieve an achievement rate of 100% or more of the energy-saving performance target standard effective as of February 1, 2024, as defined in accordance with the Act on Rationalization of Energy Specifications (Energy Conservation Law).

In the recruitment in July, all temporary entrants were decided as businesses that could apply.

Submission of Power of Attorney

In the simple application course, grant applications and performance reports can be delegated to proxy/agent.
The power of attorney must be seal, both the power of attorney (equipment operator) and the power of attorney (proxy/agent).

How to submit a power of attorney

Please download the power of attorney (No. 17 style), fill in the required items, and submit it from the power of attorney submission form (outside site).
Power of Attorney (No. 17 style) can be downloaded from the following.
The “Power of Attorney Submission Form” may be submitted by either the power of attorney (equipment operator) or the power of attorney (proxy/agent).
After confirming the contents at the secretariat, the URL of the grant application form will be sent to the e-mail address of the assignee.
(Please note that the delegate will not be able to log in to the grant application form after confirmation by the secretariat.)

Introduction of equipment

In the simple application course, after the introduction and payment of the equipment are completed, you must apply for a grant and perform the performance report procedure at the same time. (Because the flow is different from the energy-saving diagnosis consultation course, be careful not to make any mistakes.)
In addition, we establish various requirements for grant of grant, and, after receiving grant application and presentation of results report, confirm in Yokohama-shi whether we meet grant requirements of grant based on presentation documents I will do it.
For this reason, please read the recruitment guide (P.6 to 11) carefully and make sure that all of the subsidy requirements are met before ordering and contracting equipment.
If it is found that the requirements for the grant are not met after the installation and payment of the equipment is completed, the grant cannot be issued.

Notes

  • You will need a photo that allows you to check the status of the equipment before updating, so be sure to take and save the photo before replacing the equipment.
  • If the order amount exceeds 1 million yen including tax, an estimate of two or more city businesses (head office is in Yokohama city) is required. (Recruitment Guide page 15)

About all estimates company to see, presentation of the following documents is necessary as proof that it is city company.

In the case of purchase from a corporation

One of the following documents is required:

“Corporate register copy (certificate of all history items or current certificate of history items)” of the estimated company
 Confirm that the location of the head office or main office (excluding branches and sales offices) is in the city
・"Yokohama-shi general competitive bidding qualified person list"
 Locations where it can be confirmed that the location category is "city"

In the case of purchase from sole proprietors

Estimate and one of the following documents are required

"Pledge (No. 4 style) to be a business in Yokohama city" stated by the estimate company
 We may ask you to add additional materials that can confirm the actual business conditions.

・"Yokohama-shi general competitive bidding qualified person list"
 Locations where it can be confirmed that the location category is "city"

If the order amount is 1 million yen or more, and if you purchase from a company that is not registered in the Yokohama City Qualified Person List and a sole proprietor, you need to have this form listed at the place of purchase.

"Reason book pertaining to bid or estimate" is necessary when procurement from city companies is difficult due to the nature of article and construction.

When you receive the delivery amount confirmation letter, please submit without waiting for the final submission deadline.

About transfer of grant

After Yokohama City receives the appropriate "Grant Invoice", the grant will be transferred to your designated account in about one month.
