Energy saving support subsidy (simple application course)

For the realization of carbon neutrality, we will provide subsidies for capital investment with high energy saving effects implemented by SMEs in Yokohama.

Notice

July 1 We have started accepting temporary entries for applications in July 2024.
Temporary grants can be made from 10:00 on Monday, July 1 to 17:00 on Tuesday, July 23. This grant is not available on a first-come, first-served basis.
March 27 We announced the results of the provisional entry for the February recruitment.
The contents were confirmed, a lottery was conducted, and the result was notified to the e-mail address registered on Wednesday, March 27.
This grant is scheduled to be held in July.
March 15 Temporary entries for applications in February have been closed.
We will start accepting temporary entries on February 22nd. Frequently Asked Questions have been released.
February 14 We will start accepting temporary entries for applications in February 2024.
Temporary grants will be accepted from 10:00 on Thursday, February 22 to 17:00 on Friday, March 15. This grant is not available on a first-come, first-served basis.
This grant is scheduled to be recruited twice, February and July 2024.

Unauthorized receipt of grants is a crime!

If a fact, false, misconduct, etc. that do not meet the grant requirements are discovered after the grant of this grant, the applicant will be asked to return the subsidized subsidy.
In addition, as it may be a crime under the criminal law, so please check the requirements of the recruitment guide and apply properly.

Main requirements for grantees

  • Small and Medium Enterprises ※1.
  • Establish a business office in Yokohama City and have been operating at the establishment after 12 months at the time of application
  • Being a taxpayer of Yokohama city tax (corporation: corporate municipal tax, sole proprietor: personal municipal tax) and there is no delinquency of city tax

※2 Employees who always use
  A person who engages in work. Provided, however, that this shall not apply to any of the following:

  • Corporate Officers
  • Sole proprietors and their family employees (meaning relatives within the third degree)
  • Those who are employed every day
  • A person who has been used for a fixed period of two months or less
  • Those who are on the trial period
  • Those who are used for seasonal work for a period of 4 months or less

Major requirements for projects (capital investment) to be subsidized

  • Capital investment that contributes to energy conservation at business sites that meet the conditions of each facility
  • As a general rule, the equipment purchased from a city company
  • After deciding the company that can apply (after the winning is confirmed), start the subsidized project (starting construction, installation of equipment, etc.) and pay the price

※1 Designated equipment
 Facilities designated by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) have published model numbers on the website, etc. under the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s “FY2023 Supplementary Budget Energy Conservation Investment Promotion Support Project Cost Subsidy Facility Unit Type” by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.

※2 Achieving Top Runner Standards
 This refers to those that achieve an achievement rate of 100% or more of the energy-saving performance target standard as of February 1, 2024, as stipulated in accordance with the Law Concerning the Rationalization of Energy Specifications (Energy Conservation Law).
 Please refer to the recruitment guide (P.10) for how to check the top runner standards (energy saving standards).

About temporary entry application ※Reception is open until 17:00 on Tuesday, July 23!

Temporary entry method (Yokohama City Electronic Application and Notification System)

Temporary entry before application is required for this grant.
User registration (outside site) is necessary beforehand when we use for the first time because we perform temporary entry using "Yokohama-shi electronic application, report system".
Please make sure that you meet the requirements for the grant in the recruitment guide, and apply yourself from the link below.
When the temporary entry application procedure is completed, you will receive an e-mail.
Be sure to write down the application number (8 digits) described in the reception e-mail as it will be required for inquiries.

 If there is a temporary entry that exceeds the budget amount, the company that can apply will be determined by lot.
 It is not possible to apply for a temporary entry.
 Please be sure to register in the name of the corporation or business operator to apply.

Please note that the temporary entry has not been completed just by registering as a user.

About submission of power of attorney

In the simple application course, you can delegate the grant application and performance report to the proxy/agent.
The power of attorney must be seal, both the power of attorney (equipment installation company) and the power of attorney (proxy/agent).

How to submit a power of attorney

Please download the power of attorney (No. 17 style), fill in the required items, and submit it from the power of attorney submission form (external site).
Power of Attorney (No. 17 style) can be downloaded from the following.
The “Power of Attorney Submission Form” may be submitted by either the power of attorney (equipment installation company) or the assignee (proxy/agent).
After confirming the contents at the secretariat, the URL of the grant application form will be sent to the e-mail address of the assignee.
(Please note that after confirming with the secretariat, the delegate cannot log in to the grant application form.)

Installation of equipment

In the simple application course, after the introduction and payment of the equipment are completed, you will need to apply for a subsidy grant and report the results report procedure at the same time. (Because the flow is different from the energy-saving diagnosis consultation course, please be careful not to make a mistake.)
In addition, we establish various requirements for grant of subsidy and, after receiving presentation of grant application and results report, we confirm in Yokohama-shi whether we meet grant requirements of grant based on presentation documents .
For this reason, please read the recruitment guide (P. 6-11) carefully and make sure that all the subsidy requirements are met before ordering and contracting equipment.
If it is found that the subsidy requirements are not met after the installation and payment of the equipment is completed, the grant will not be issued.

Precautions

  • You will need a photo that allows you to check the status of the equipment before updating, so be sure to take and save the photo before replacing the equipment.
  • If the order amount exceeds 1 million yen including tax, it is necessary to estimate two or more city businesses (head office is in Yokohama city). (Recruitment Guide P.15)

About all estimated companies to see, presentation of the following documents is necessary as proof that it is city company.

In the case of purchase from a corporation

One of the following documents is required:

“Corporate registry copy (certificate of all history items or certificate of history items)” of the estimated business operator
 Being able to confirm that the head office or main office (excluding branches and sales offices) is located in the city
・"Yokohama City General Competitive Bidding Qualified Person List"
 Location where the location division can be confirmed to be "city"

In the case of purchase from a sole proprietor

Quotation and one of the following documents are required:

"Written pledge (No. 4 style) to be a company in Yokohama City" written by the estimated company
 In some cases, we may ask you to add additional materials that can confirm the actual business conditions.

If the order amount is 1,000,000 yen or more, and when purchasing from a company that is not registered in the Yokohama City Qualified Person List and a sole proprietor, it is necessary to have the supplier list this style.

"Reason book pertaining to bid or estimate" is required when procurement from city companies is difficult due to nature of article and construction.

About submission of delivery invoice

As a general rule, the invoice must be submitted within one week after receiving the letter of confirmation of the grant amount.
When you receive the grant amount confirmation letter, please submit it without waiting for the final submission deadline.

About transfer of grant

After Yokohama City receives the appropriate "Grant Invoice", the grant will be transferred to your designated account in about one month.
