People working at the Yokohama Meat Market always hope that the meat they produce will be appreciated by citizens and consumers and will be able to eat with peace of mind.
Under such circumstances, Japan's first BSE (bovine spongiform encephalopathy) occurred in September 2001, and BSE screening tests were started on October 18 of the same year.

The spinal cord removal rate of this device is an epoch-making test that demonstrated almost 100% (actually measured by the Yokohama City Meat Sanitation Laboratory), and has sold 74 units throughout Japan in response to inquiries from other markets.
This device has a strong desire of people working in the market to "want citizens and consumers to eat safe meat with peace of mind."
