Regarding block fences, structural standards such as the height of the fence, the thickness of the wall, the arrangement of reinforcing bars, and the installation of buttress walls are indicated in Article 62-8 of the Building Standards Law Enforcement Order.
1. The height shall be 2.2m or less.
2. The thickness of the wall shall be 15 cm or more (10 cm for fences with a height of 2 m or less).
3. Reinforcing bars with a diameter of 9 mm or more shall be placed horizontally on the top and foundation of the wall, and vertically at the end and corner of the wall.
4. In the wall, reinforcing bars with a diameter of 9 mm or more shall be placed vertically and horizontally at intervals of 80 cm or less.
(5) For every 3.4 m or less in length, a buttress (reinforcing bars with a diameter of 9 mm or more and protrudes from the wall surface) shall be installed at least.
Six. The ends of the reinforcing bars are bent in a hook shape, the vertical bars are hooked to the top of the wall and the horizontal bars of the foundation, and the horizontal bars are hooked to the vertical bars.
(* If the foundation is 40 times more than the diameter, the end of the vertical streak cannot be hooked on the horizontal streak of the foundation.)
7. The length of the foundation shall be 35 cm or more, and the depth of the rooting shall be 30 cm or more.
