Food Sanitation Procedure

Health and Welfare Center Health Sanitation Division in each district accepts the following procedures for application and notification. The procedures are being carried out at Health and Welfare Center Health Sanitation Division in the district where the facility is located (which is scheduled to open in the future), so please contact Health Sanitation Division in that district for details.

Notification of change in business license application and business notification items | Procedures when there is a change in the business license application and business notification items. Click here for the procedure for appointing (change) food hygiene managers. |
Notification of closure of food-related business | Procedures when a food-related business is closed. We accept Yokohama-shi electronic application, report system (outside site) or Health and Welfare Center Health Sanitation Division of ward. We can do procedure by downloading style and electronic application from report (outside site) of closing of food-related business. In addition, after applying for and submitting a business license using the national system, procedures from the food hygiene application system (outside site) are possible. |
Notification of succession of status of food-related business operators through transfer, inheritance, merger, and split | Procedure when the status of a food-related business operator is succeeded by transfer, inheritance, merger, or split. We accept it at Health and Welfare Center Health Sanitation Division in the ward. |
Application for reissuance of food business license | Procedures for re-issuing a business license due to loss or damage. |
Notification of appointment (change) of food hygiene manager | Procedures for appointing or changing a food hygiene manager. For more information, please contact Health and Welfare Center Health Sanitation Division. In addition, style can be obtained from report (outside site) such as food hygiene manager setting. After applying for and submitting a business license using the national system, procedures from the food hygiene application system (outside site) are possible. |
Notification of health hazard information due to foods containing designated ingredients | Procedures for a business operator handling foods containing designated ingredients, etc., who obtains information on health hazards for foods containing designated ingredients, etc. to be handled. For more information, please contact Health and Welfare Center Health Sanitation Division. In addition, the style can be obtained from the notification (outside site) of health damage information due to foods containing designated ingredients. |
