What is Yokohama City Fire Service?

Based on Article 22 of the Fire Services Act, the "fire alarm" is issued by the mayor when weather conditions are dangerous for fire prevention.
If the air is dry or strong winds are blowing, the risk of fire and spread of fire increases.
During warning announcement, please cooperate with restriction of use of fire to establish in Yokohama-shi fire prevention regulations.

What are the conditions for issuing a fire alarm?

An alert will be issued if any of the following criteria are met.
 ①When drying warning, strong wind warning or storm warning is announced in Yokohama City, and the mayor recognizes that there is a risk of fire occurrence and spread of fire spread is remarkable.
 ②When the mayor recognizes that the weather situation is dangerous for fire prevention other than the above.

What is a Responsible?

According to the Yokohama City Fire Prevention Ordinance Article 35, when a fire alarm is issued, the following acts are restricted.
Violation will result in punishment under the Fire Services Act.
(Article 44, Item 13 of the Fire Services Act: Violation shall result in a fine or detention of 300,000 yen or less.)
 ①Do not burn fire in forests, wilderness, etc.
 ②Do not use fireworks (fireworks)
 ③Do not play with fire or bonfires outdoors
 ④Do not smoke outdoors near flammable objects
 ⑤Do not smoke outdoors in forests, wilderness, etc.
 ⑥Remnants (including cigarette butts) To dispose of ash or fire powder
 ⑦When using open flame indoors, close windows, entrances, etc.
