2023 "Fire Cloth Up Cycle Project!"

　City of Yokohama, Fire Bureau, in cooperation with Intersection Co., Ltd. and Mattrz Co., Ltd., is working with Intersection Co., Ltd. and Mattrz Co., Ltd. (Matters). ※Will be implemented.

※1 Upcycling refers to the creation of new value to products that should be discarded (creative reuse).

　Since Fire Bureau discards approximately 200 fire-fighting clothing (approximately 800 kg) are disposed of as industrial waste every year.
　In response to such issues as mass production, mass consumption, and disposal of waste, from the perspective of SDGs, we decided to carry out this initiative from the perspective of an upcycling perspective that adds new value and reuse, rather than simply discarding unnecessary things.
