Loans

• We lend low-income households the expenses necessary to rehabilitate independently from the poverty caused by the disaster.
• It can be used to repair houses and purchase household goods.
• The maximum loan amount is as follows.

• This applies to low-income households (with income standards).
• As a general rule, households that are eligible for loan of disaster relief funds based on the Act on Payment of Condolences for Disaster Condolences are exempt.

• In principle, a certificate of damage / disaster book is required for borrowing.
• Applications must be made within 6 months from the time of the disaster.
• When borrowing, in principle, one joint guarantor is required (with income standard).

This system is implemented by the Japan National Council of Social Welfare in Kanagawa Prefecture, and the Japan National Council of Social Welfare in each ward serves as the reception desk.
