Loans

• We lend low-income households with the expenses necessary to rehabilitate independently from the poverty caused by the disaster.
• It can be used to repair houses and purchase household goods.
• The maximum amount of loans is as follows:

• This applies to low-income households (with income standards).
• As a general rule, households eligible for loan of disaster relief funds based on the Act on Payment of Disaster Condolences, etc. are exempt.

• In principle, certificate of damage / disaster is required for borrowing.
• Application is limited to 6 months from the time of the disaster.
• In principle, one joint guarantor is required for borrowing (there is income standard).

This system is implemented by the Kanagawa Prefecture Japan National Council of Social Welfare, and the reception desk is handled by the Japan National Council of Social Welfare in each ward.
