Disaster relief funds (Ordinance on Payment of Condolences, etc.)

Target disaster

Disasters when there is one or more municipalities in Kanagawa Prefecture to which the Disaster Relief Law has been applied due to a natural disaster

Details of support

For those who have been injured or have suffered damage to their homes or household goods due to a disaster, we will lend funds necessary for rebuilding their lives based on the ordinance on payment of disaster condolence money.
The maximum amount of loans is as follows:

Details of support
Lending limit(1) If the head of the household has been injured for more than one month
A. Only the injured person :1.5 million yen
B. Damage of more than one-third of household goods :2.5 million yen
(C) Half of the house :2.7 million yen
D. House completely destroyed :3.5 million yen

(2) If the head of household has not been injured for more than one month
(A) Damage more than one-third of household goods :1.5 million yen
B. Half of the house :1.7 million yen
(C) Completely destroyed houses (except in case of d) :2.5 million yen
D. Loss or washed away of the entire house :3.5 million yen

Loan interest rateGuarantor available: Interest-free, no guarantor: 1% per year (interest-free during grace period)
Deferment periodWithin 3 years (in special case, 5 years)
Redemption periodWithin 10 years (including grace period)

Those who can use it

Those who lived in Yokohama at the time of the disaster ※Then, household heads of households affected by any of the following are eligible.
※If you live in the city at the time of the disaster, those who currently live outside the city are also eligible.
(1) The head of the household is injured by a disaster, and the period required for medical treatment is approximately one month or more
(2) Damage to more than one-third of household goods
(3) Depletion or destruction of houses
In addition, there is an income limit.

5 or more peopleThe sum of 7.3 million yen plus 300,000 yen for each additional person.
However, if the house is lost, it will be 122.7 million yen.

※Judgment is based on the total amount of the latest municipal tax gross income, etc. of all those who were same household at the time of the disaster.
※Even if the house is demolished due to complete destruction, it will be treated as loss, and the income limit will be 12.7 million yen.
