※This page will be updated when evacuation sites is opened when a typhoon approaches. There are currently no evacuation sites in Asahi Ward.

Notice Concerning Opening of evacuation sites in case of storm and flood damage

・In Asahi Ward, 36 elementary and junior high schools in the ward are designated as evacuation sites during storm and flood damage.
・evacuation sites is selected in the event of a storm or flood, taking into account the strength of the wind and rain, the risk of rising rivers.
 Unlike when an earthquake occurs, not all nearby evacuation shelter (evacuation shelters) will be opened as evacuation sites.
・Before evacuating, be sure to obtain recent information on the ward website or TV Kanagawa (data broadcasting) and check the established evacuation sites.

※Please check the map on storm and flood damage maps for evacuation sites that may be opened.
 In addition, depending on the situation of storm and flood damage, district center, neighborhood hall, etc. may be opened as evacuation sites.

Points to note when heading to evacuation sites

・It is very dangerous to evacuate after the weather gets stronger. Let's try to evacuate as soon as possible.
・In principle, please evacuate on foot to evacuation sites.
・Be sure to bring necessary items at the time of evacuation, such as water, food, blankets, medicine, etc.
・Don't forget to prepare masks, thermometers, alcohol disinfectants, slippers and other infection control items.
・For evacuation with pets, please contact the Asahi Ward General Affairs Division Crisis Management and Regional Disaster Prevention Section (045-954-6007).

Other evacuation methods

Evacuation is "evacuation" from "difficult" and ensuring safety. Going to evacuation sites is not the only evacuation action.
If you can ensure safety at home in the event of a disaster, please try to evacuate at home, such as vertical evacuation. In addition to the evacuation sites established by the government.
Consider evacuation behavior and evacuation sites in advance, such as keeping safe relatives and friends' homes in evacuation sites.
