What is the Asahi Ward Nearby Manual?…
With the cooperation of people who are committed to disaster prevention activities in the community, in the event of a major earthquake, help neighbors and neighbors.
This is a summary of “Efforts to Survival Together” in an easy-to-understand leaflet format.
In addition, the training method for practicing the content of the initiative and the flow of disaster response after an earthquake are also described.
If you are not sure how to conduct local training, you can refer to it.

About holding of Asahi Ward disaster prevention lecture in 2024
Since fiscal 2022, Asahi Ward has been conducting training sessions based on the Asahi Ward Assistant Manual.
In this fiscal year, in addition to the conventional collective training, we decided to conduct on-site training at Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations and others.
We look forward to receiving your application.
About collective training
Targets
Persons in charge of disaster prevention at town disaster prevention organizations such as Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations and others
Students (and parents) living and working in Asahi Ward
Up to the first 40 people each time
※If you wish to take the course individually, this training is recommended.

・From 9:00 to 12:00 on Saturday, February 8, 2025
・From 9:00 to 12:00 on Friday, February 28, 2025
※All of them are the same.

Large conference room on the second floor of the new building of the Asahi Ward Office
Contents of the training (planned)
(1) Classroom lectures
Stockpiling and disaster prevention knowledge to be prepared by each person (home)
Learn about the town's disaster prevention organization's efforts and the Asahi Ward Nearby Manual
(2) Group work
Let's experience the response of disaster prevention organizations in the town immediately after the earthquake

※This is a training program for groups.
※If you want to promote awareness of disaster prevention within your organization, or if you want to acquire knowledge that will lead to solving problems that your organization has, we recommend on-site training.

Initiatives by self support and community support (Asahi Ward near assistant manual) / Estimation of damage in the region
In addition, we will develop programs tailored to the actual situation of Neighborhood Association and Neighborhood Associations, such as addressing local issues and themes of interest.
※If you have any requests to give a lecture on this theme, please fill out the application form.
After the dispatch of the instructor is decided, we will adjust the contents of the training.

About lottery
If you apply from many groups, we will determine the group that can be accepted by lottery.
The lottery results will be reported to the applicant by Wednesday, July 31, 2024 after the end of the application period.
Flow after the dispatch decision
If you agree to provide application information to the training organization (certified NPO Kanagawa 311 Network) at the time of application, after the dispatch of the lecturer, the training organization will contact the applicant, and the date and time, place, training content, etc. Make adjustments.
After the training, please submit the questionnaire to Asahi Ward General Affairs Division.

・The lecture fee is free.
・Please prepare the venue by the applicant. You can apply even if the venue is undecided, but please prepare by the day of the training.
・We hope that as many people as possible will participate in theNeighborhood Association and Neighborhood Associations meetings. (Approximate: 10 or more)
・If you are unavoidable to postpone or cancel, please contact Asahi Ward General Affairs Division General Affairs Section immediately.
・Depending on the weather conditions on the day, it may be canceled.
・When applying, be sure to check the agreement on the application form (providing the applicant's contact information etc. to the training institution) before checking.
