What is the Asahi Ward Approach Manual?…

With the help of people who are committed to disaster prevention activities in the community, in the event of a major earthquake, we will help each other in the event of a major earthquake.
This is an easy-to-understand leaflet format that summarizes “Efforts to survive together”.
It also describes the training method for practicing the activities and the flow of disaster response after an earthquake occurs.
If you are unsure about how to conduct local training, you can also refer to it.

About holding of Asahi Ward disaster prevention workshop in 2023

In fiscal 2019, Asahi Ward created the Asahi Ward Approach Manual, which summarizes "helping each other's neighbors" immediately after the occurrence of a large-scale earthquake.Neighborhood AssociationAsahi Ward has been conducting training based on theNeighborhood Associations Manual.
In fiscal 2022, we held the Asahi Ward Assistance Manual Training for self support to learn about initial response in the event of a disaster, focusing on theAsahi Ward DisasterAsahi Ward Manual.
In addition to the disaster prevention organizations in the town, we hope that junior high and high school students (and their parents) living in Asahi Ward will participate and use them for training in their homes and local training.

・From 9:00 to 12:00 on February 14, 2024 (Wednesday)
・From 9:00 to 12:00 on March 16, 2024 (Sat)

※All of them are the same.

Venue

Large conference room on the second floor of the new building of Asahi Ward Office

Targets

Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations, etc.
Junior and senior high school students living in Asahi Ward
Up to 40 people each time

Training content (planned)

(1) Classroom lecture
   About self support (stock supplies to be prepared at home, disaster prevention knowledge, etc.)
   About community support (approach of disaster prevention organization, Asahi Ward neighborhood assistance manual, etc.)
   initial-stage fire-fighting techniques. equipment (handling of initial-stage fire-fighting techniques. equipment, etc.)
(2) Group work
   Experience the response of the disaster prevention organization in the town immediately after the earthquake

(Reference) Examples of safety confirmation Initiatives


 

Among the items described in the Asahi Ward Assistant Manual, this is a collection of examples in regions where small groups are actually implementing initiatives by minority groups, safety confirmation, and information gathering and communication.
In addition to improving disaster prevention capabilities, we will enhance welfare activities such as creating relationships of watching and supporting each other in familiar areas, and leading to the development of a town where everyone can live with peace of mind are compiled. Please read it.
