The plate monument is a type of stone pagoda that was actively built in the Middle Ages, and is called because it is shaped like a plate. There are various types of stone and shapes depending on the region. This Kangen era nameplate monument is located in the collective cemetery of Kamoshidacho.
Initially, the monument stands on the east side in the center where three riverbank stones are lined up, and a skeletalware surrounded by 6 to 7 riverbank stones is buried, and it has the character of a tombstone-like character It seems to be. The monument is made of chlorite schist from Chichibu. On the monument, a seed Kiriku representing Amida Nyorai, is largely carved by Yakken, and the date of "Kangen era second mouth" on the right side and "July Hatsukaguchi" can be seen on the left. This 1244 is 1244 in the Christian era and is the oldest plate monument confirmed in the prefecture.
