When we raised nicknames to road to further deepen attachment to area on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the constituency system, there was a proposal for one road.

In line with the 25th anniversary of the constituency, we will recruit road nicknames through Neighborhood Association and Neighborhood Associations to create opportunities for residents to deepen their attachment to "hometown".

1 Recruitment period
Must arrive by Friday, May 31, 2019

2 Eligible roads
Roads that meet the following conditions are assumed.
（1） The extension must be 500 meters or more.
（2） At least one lane on each side, and the sidewalk and roadway must be separated by curbs.
（3） It must be a public road.

3 About consultation method
　If you would like to set a nickname, please prepare Attachment 2 “Consultation Form”.
Applicants must be Neighborhood Association / Neighborhood Associations where the road for which the nickname is located is located, or related organizations or groups (excluding individuals).
Applicants should coordinate the section and nickname names in advance with the District Union Neighborhood Association. In addition, about nicknames, I would like you to consult with the ward office in advance.
Please cooperate so that consultation slips should be collected at the Regional Union Neighborhood Association in the area where the road for which the nickname is set is located, and submitted by Friday, May 31, 2019.

4 About nickname name
　Roads that have already been nicknamed by Road and Highway Bureau are not eligible. (Old Oyama Kaido, Nanari-zaka, Shaka Road, Nae Manzaka, Otahirazaka, Yokohama Kami-Asao Road, Children's Country Street, Ring No. 4)
Oh 長 Road, Dori, Road, P-Road, Saka, Yokocho, etc.
Personal names and building names, commercial activities such as shops, companies, shopping streets, etc., and names related to all wards such as "Aoba" cannot be used.
Nicknames that use only plant names such as "cherry blossoms" and "keyaki" cannot be used, but those that are combined with town names can be used.
Depending on the nickname, the name may be adjusted.
