When we recruited nicknames for roads to deepen our attachment to the area on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the constituency system, there was a proposal on one road.

In line with the 25th anniversary of the constituency system, we will recruit nicknames for roads through Neighborhood Association and Neighborhood Associations to create opportunities for residents to deepen their attachment to their hometown.

1 Recruitment period
Must arrive by Friday, May 31, 2019

2 Target roads
Roads that meet the following conditions are assumed.
（1） The length must be at least 500 meters.
（2） At least one lane on each side, and the sidewalk and roadway are separated by curbs.
（3） It must be a public road.

3 About consultation method
　If you would like to set a nickname, please create Attachment 2 “Consultation Form”.
The applicant shall be the Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations or the related organizations/groups (excluding individuals) where the road you wish to set the nickname.
Applicants should coordinate with the District Union Neighborhood Association in advance the sections and nicknames. In addition, I would like you to consult with the ward office in advance about nickname names.
Please cooperate so that the consultation slips can be collected at the district union Neighborhood Association in the area where the road you wish to set the nickname is located, and submitted by arrival on Friday, May 31, 2019.

4 Regarding nicknames
　Roads that have already been nicknamed by Road and Highway Bureau are not eligible. (Old Oyama Kaido, Nanagarizaka, Shakado, Naemanzaka, Otahirazaka, Yokohama Kami Aso Road, Children's Country Street, Ring No. 4)
Oh 〇 Road, street, street, street, street, street, street, etc. Please make it.
Personal names and building names, commercial activities such as shops, companies, shopping streets, etc., and names related to all wards such as "Aoba" cannot be used.
Nicknames that use only the names of plants such as "Sakura" and "Keyaki" cannot be used, but those that are combined with street names etc. can be used.
Depending on the nickname name, the name may be adjusted.
The nickname will be decided after recruiting residents' opinions by the public information Yokohama Aoba Ward version.
