←The connection between Tsuzuki Ward   and the Republic of Angola.→

The connection between Tsuzuki Ward   and the Republic of Angola was born as a result of the introduction of the Republic of Angola at the Municipal Subway Center North Station as part of the One Station One Country Movement for African Development in 2008.
During the exhibition, these mural paintings were donated by Angola painters, and the unveiling ceremony was held with the attendance of the Prime Minister who came to Japan at the conference. Since then, the mural has become a valuable asset of the Tsuzuki Ward   and a symbol of friendship between the two countries.

●Population: 21.47 million people (2013: World Bank) / Language: Portuguese (official language), Other Unbundue, etc. / Area: 12.47 million square kilometers (approximately 3.3 times that of Japan)

It is a republic located in the western part of South Africa and its capital is Luanda. Former Portugal colony. Although the economy was extremely exhausted due to the long-term civil war since its independence in 1975, it has been blessed with mineral resources such as oil and diamonds, and has high potential for agriculture and fisheries, and has maintained a high economic growth rate in recent years (delayed due to the global economic crisis). In terms of oil, it is the largest oil-producing country in sub-Saharan Africa, alongside Nigeria. He joined the Organization of Oil Exporting Countries (OPEC) in 2007 and chaired the Presidency in 2009. On the other hand, the Angola government is also working to diversify industries, such as the promotion of agriculture, forestry and fisheries and manufacturing industries, under the national development plan, in order to break away from the oil-dependent economy.
