What is "Rosa Continuing"?
To the south of Angel, the core city of the Loire region of France, there is a town called Orbinier Sur Rayon (A.S.L), known for its precious wine and rose gardens. The town and Tsuzuki Ward have been interacting with each other since around 1997. To date, residents have dispatched international exchange groups to the A.S.L Harvest Festival to introduce the Tsuzuki Ward and showcase Japanese culture.
One day, Jack & Christoph Travel, who runs a rose garden near A.S.L, learned about this exchange and suggested to Mayor A.S.L whether to name a new rose with the name of Tsuzuki Ward . In this way, the rose was named "Rosa Continuing".
"Rosa Continuing" is a double-flowered rose with glossy pale pink petals, and beautiful flowers bloom from spring to autumn.
It is planted in Tsuzuki Chuo Park circular plaza in the city. (Rose cultivation management designated manager: Tsuzuki Chuo Park Nature Experience Facility Management Steering Committee (Tsuzuki Chuo Park Satoyama Club))
In December 2007, transplanted to rose garden in Harbor View Park (Minato-no-Mieru Oka Koen). I would like many people to appreciate it.
