Mayor Geneddy Turkhanov of Odesa, a sister city of Yokohama, visited the city with the aim of thanking him for his support and further strengthening cooperation for post-war reconstruction.
Taking this opportunity, Mayor Turkhanov was invited to Yokohama City Council on March 16, 2023, where he spoke at the plenary hall.
