A company in Yokohama City donated masks to African countries.

In response to the rapid increase in the number of people infected with the new coronavirus infection in Africa, New Century Trading Co., Ltd. (Representative Director of Onuiei / Kanagawa-ku, Yokohama City) has helped prevent infection in Africa. There was an offer to donate a mask (10,000 pieces).
The Japan-African Friendship Yokohama City Council (Chairman: Yokohama City Council SATO Hirofumi) has agreed to donate to the IFE Foundation (Director: former Ambassador of the Republic of Benin to Japan), and a donation ceremony was held inYokohama City Council Building on Friday, May 15, 2020.
Masks will be sent to African countries through the IFE Foundation, where they will be used locally.
