　Happy New Year. I would like to thank all of you for welcoming the New Year.
　Last year, as the impact of COVID-19 continued, various events and events were held for the first time in three years, including the "Nishi Ward People's Festival" and "The Sound of Insects" were held for the first time in three years. In addition, Nishi Ward's comprehensive plan, "Nikomachi Forum" was held for the first time in two years, with the aim of sharing information and know-how and solving local issues. Furthermore, as a digital ward office model ward, we conducted demonstration experiments using My Number Card and promoted initiatives to improve the convenience of residents of the city.
　This year, we will continue to work thoroughly to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, and work with local communities, shopping streets, companies and organizations so that the bustle of the town can be felt closer. In addition, in order to respond to the rapidly changing social situation, we will work strongly forward on anything while challenging various things, including digitalization initiatives.
