In order to ensure that patients diagnosed with tuberculosis can continue treatment of tuberculosis with peace of mind, all or all of the medical expenses of tuberculosis based on the "Law Concerning the Prevention of Infectious Diseases and Medical Care for Patients with Infectious Diseases (Infectious Diseases Law)" This is a system in which a part is paid at public expense.
If you are diagnosed with tuberculosis, please contact your local Health and Welfare Center, Health and Welfare Division Health Promotion Section immediately.

Type B and C viral hepatitis are diseases that may progress to serious conditions such as cirrhosis and liver cancer in the future.
In Kanagawa Prefecture, the medical expenses provides support for interferon treatment (excluding long-term doses) for the purpose of removing hepatitis B and C viruses, as well as nucleic acid analog treatment for hepatitis B virus.
