[Director General Column] District round-table conferences are being held. (As of June 5, 2023)

　Thank you for your understanding and cooperation with the municipal administration and ward administration on a daily basis. Two months have passed since I was appointed head of Minami Ward in April. When I meet local people, the more I learn about the local pattern, the more warmth of Minami Ward is.

　In Neighborhood Association and Neighborhood Associations in Minami Ward, "District Meetings" have been held in various regions where local residents exchange opinions on local issues. Starting with the Nakamura district held on May 11, enthusiastic discussions have been held on various themes, including disaster prevention and anti-crime program, welfare, multi-generational exchanges, and initiatives for a digitalized society. In every region, as I feel the passion of everyone who wants to make the town where they live better, I also want to create a livable town with the local people.

　The ward office has also formulated a ward management policy in 2023. With a "citizen's perspective" and a sense of speed, we aim to be a Minami Ward where everyone can feel "connection" and "warm" and want to continue living.
