　Inhabitants of a ward, Hello.
　My name is Kazuyoshi Takazawa and I became Director of Minami Ward on April 1.
　I am very pleased and honored to be able to work in Minami Ward as Director General in the milestone year of Minami Ward's 80th anniversary.
　Unfortunately, the Minami Cherry Blossom Festival scheduled to be held at Makita Park on March 25 and 26, was unfortunately canceled due to rain.
I also visited the venue on the day and met the local people who had been preparing for the first time in four years. As I touch everyone's thoughts, I feel how Minami Ward has cherished the connection between people through festivals and other events, and I am already aware of the catchphrase of Minami Ward, "Minami no Kaze is Warm."
　Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, events and events have been canceled for a long time, but in fiscal 2023, various events and events will be held to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the constituency system until the December commemorative ceremony in December, and we hope to use this as an opportunity to restore energy. Furthermore, through the formulation of the Yokohama City Medium-Term Plan, the entire city will work together to promote the “Yokohama, a town that nurtures the next generation together,” the ward office will work together to ensure that they are glad to live in Minami Ward and want to continue living. I will do my best.
