When evacuating
In case of earthquake
１．First of all, please make sure that you are safe for yourself.
２．Please evacuate not only to designated elementary and junior high schools, but also to a large and safe place such as nearby schools, parks and vacant lots.
３．If you cannot return home due to collapse of the house, please evacuate to the designated elementary and junior high school (evacuation shelter (evacuation shelter)).

In case of storm and flood damage
Unlike earthquakes, local elementary and junior high schools are not always established as evacuation sites. evacuation sites will be established depending on the disaster situation. Let's get the latest information from the ward homepage.
１．Unlike earthquakes, countermeasures can be taken in advance, so be sure to collect weather information actively.
２．Evacuation after the rain and wind becomes strong or flooded is very dangerous. Please try to evacuate as soon as possible according to the situation.
３．If it is already flooded or it is dangerous to move to evacuation sites due to strong winds or heavy rain, evacuate to the second floor or higher of the building.
[When earth and sand disaster warning information is announced]
When earth and sand disaster alert information is issued in the southern part of Yokohama City, evacuation warning will be issued for 11 designated areas (list of areas subject to immediate evacuation warning) in the city. In doing so, the following four facilities will be established as evacuation sites to temporarily protect those living in the area where the evacuation warning was issued.

Pet measures in case of storm and flood damage
Since the course and scale of storms and floods such as typhoons can be predicted in advance, it is important to prepare in advance so that you can evacuate immediately when evacuation is required.
[Evacuation with pets]
・In evacuation sites, the owner and pet are evacuated in separate places. Pet evacuation sites specifies a roof area with a roof, but please note that it may be exposed to weather depending on the weather.
・Please bring your pet cage with your pet when you evacuate. In evacuation sites, keep it in a cage. In addition, please bring all necessary items such as food, pet sheets, medicine, etc. other than cages.
・Accepted dogs, cats and small animals (birds, rabbits, hamsters, etc.).
※ Pets are not allowed to evacuate at the "4 Mutsu Community House".
